This online workshop is part of The Ceramic School's Clay Camp Conference, a unique 3-day learning experience for potters and ceramic artists of all skill levels. This live, interactive event features workshops from over 20 incredible ceramic artists; all sessions are focused on surface design.
Hands-On Workshop
Explore how to use custom vinyl stencils with underglaze to create dynamic surfaces with bold line and vibrant color! This in-person hands-on learning experience will be held at Art Off Center Pottery Studio in Taylor TX, just outside of Austin. Participants will use a slab to create either a tile wall hanging or small tray. We'll discuss strategies for successfully working with underglazes and also tips for turning your own illustrations into original stencil designs.
