26. Coaster

Colorful foliage design with mauve background. Slab built and painted by hand. Underglaze and cone 5 glazes on stoneware clay.  Clear glaze has been applied and fired over the underglaze color; this piece has a high-gloss surface. Incorporates stencil design created from my original drawings inspired by my garden.

Note: This item is handmade, organic in nature, and therefore has character associated with being handcrafted.
